Question of Law

In any legal proceeding issues to be determined may be of fact or of law. Issues of law are always resolved by a judge. An issue that is a question of law is always resolved by a judge, not a jury. This can include bot the interpretation of what a given law means and how it applies to the case at hand and the question of which law applies in situations where more than one law may appear to be applicable.
